I am seeking a full-time design or production position in the video game  industry.

I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Interactive Entertainment at the University of Central Florida's Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA). If you are not familiar with the program, it is a 16 month Master's Degree program concentrating on video game development. Students work on video game projects as producers, artists and programmers mentored by a faculty with decades of game-making experience. I am currently going through their production track. With my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and the production and design skills I have gained while attending FIEA, I believe I can be a valuable, effective, and contributing member of a game development team.

While at FIEA, I have been given the opportunity to experience a full production cycle on a team of 16 interdisciplinary developers. I am the lead designer on this team where we are developing a real-time strategy game (Bizarre Craft). We will spend, in total, 7 months completing this project, taking it from pitch to finished product. Along with my experience on larger projects, I gained experience on many small interdisciplinary teams. One of these of note was a Flash game, I Herd Ya, where I acted as both producer and designer. This game went on to win Grand Prize in a Shockwave.com Game Design Competition. This is just a small part of the opportunities I have had while completing my master's degree. I believe that my time at FIEA has provided me with significant experience that will translate almost directly to industry experience.

I recommend you looking over my resumé for more information regarding my experience and education.
